Brian Wilcove is a Managing Director at America’s Frontier Fund.

He is an active technology investment professional with more than twenty years of experience funding high tech startups. As a board member and investor, he has created more than $11B of enterprise value to date. In addition to his role at America’s Frontier Fund, he is a General Partner at Artiman Ventures, a billion dollar silicon valley venture capital firm. Brian focuses on investing in entrepreneurs building white space companies that have the potential to create or disrupt multi-billion dollar markets. As a former entrepreneur, Brian brings empathy, curiosity, passion, experience and patience to the table.

Brian's early career included co-founding Virtela, a software defined networking company, which was acquired by NTT to become their global networking business. He also held a variety of management roles at ANS, America Online and Qwest Communications before joining TeleSoft Partners and then Sofinnova Ventures. Brian received his undergraduate degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He is a native of Philadelphia, and he currently resides in the Bay Area with his wife and two children.
